HORSEPOWER OHIO is a volunteer run, nonprofit grass roots effort  formed to support and advance horse related activities in Ohio. The funds collected by the sale of the Ohio Specialty Equine License Plate will help equine organizations and people by a simple grant program. 

WHAT HAS BEEN DONE? We have collected over 1,000 signatures of people pledging to buy the plate when it comes out.

The next step: Senator Timothy Grendell has sponsored the Horse Power Ohio license plate bill—SENATE BILL 79.    It has been cosponsored by Senators Amstutz, Cafaro, Gardner and Schaffer. This bill is now in the Highways and Transportation Committee for consideration. We need as many people as possible to encourage these senators to move this bill to a vote in the Senate.

WE NEED YOU TO CONTACT THE SENATORS ON THE HIGHWAYS AND TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE TO REQUEST THAT THEY VOTE FOR THE PASSAGE OF THE HORSEPOWER OHIO BILL—SENATE BILL #79 !!!!
